Aberdeen Airport is an international airport located at Dyce, a suburb of Aberdeen, approximately 5 miles from Aberdeen city centre.

Getting to Aberdeen Airport by train

Dyce Station is the closest train station to Aberdeen Airport, being just a 10 minute bus ride away. Dyce Station is unstaffed, but trains run at least once an hour Monday to Saturday, and slightly less frequently on Sundays.

Once you have arrived at Dyce station, you can jump on the JetConnect No. 80 bus shuttle, which will get you to the airport in approximately 10 minutes. The bus runs from Monday to Friday between 0630 and 1830. If you’re travelling outside of these times, you can grab a taxi outside the station.

If you’ve got plenty of time before your flight and it’s a nice day, head to the Granite City bar, before security, which offers a tasty menu, relaxed atmosphere and a beautiful beer garden for your use.

Once you’ve gone through security, head to The Globe for traditional pub grub and tasty ales, wines and spirits. You’ll find all the classics like a full English breakfast or fish and chips, so you can get your last taste of the UK before you fly away. There’s a breakfast and main menu, as well as a children’s menu for the little ones.

And if you just want a good old cuppa and a slice of cake, you have the choice of Joes Coffee House before security or Costa Coffee afterwards.
