We recommend that you aim to get to the airport at least 2 hours before your flight check-in time.

The station is linked to the airport passenger terminals by a free, frequent Sky-Rail Link monorail service running every 2 minutes with a journey time of less than 2 minutes.

Stansted Airport

There's easy pedestrian access between the station and the terminal building. The station is located directly beneath the airport terminal with step free access via escalators, lifts or ramps which take you straight into the check-in area.
Stansted Airport provides a free service for passengers with reduced mobility to assist with their journey through the Terminal to the aircraft. Passengers are advised to book this free facility with their airline at least 48 hours before their flight departure to ensure they receive the assistance they require. The ISS special assistance desk is located in the Terminal adjacent to Zones D and E. Please note that this is separate from the CrossCountry JourneyCare service.

Aberdeen

Aberdeen Airport is located two miles away from Dyce rail station. There is a connecting train service from Aberdeen to Dyce. The JetConnect bus links Dyce rail station to Aberdeen Airport Monday to Friday between 0630 and 1830. The bus journey takes around 10 minutes.

Bristol / Bristol Temple Meads

Bristol Airport is around a 30 minute bus journey from Bristol Temple Meads. The Airport Flyer Express runs 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and departs Bristol Temple Meads at least every 10 minutes between 0600 and 1830 (please check timetable for times out with this period).
Bournemouth

Bournemouth Airport is around 20 minutes away from Bournemouth station. You can travel by bus from outside the rail station. Buses run from 0700 to 2000, 7 days a week. The timetable can be accessed on Yellow Buses website.
Doncaster / Sheffield Robin Hood

A short walk from Doncaster rail station, Doncaster Interchange provides bus services from different operators to Robin Hood Airport. Journey time takes around 35 minutes and is ran by First South Yorkshire and Stagecoach Yorkshire.
Durham Tees Valley / Darlington

Durham Tees Valley Airport is (deceptively) best accessed from Darlington station. Arriva North East runs the number 12 service from outside the station to the Airport.
East Midlands / Nottingham, Derby, Leicester or Long Eaton

East Midlands Airport can be accessed from many stations in the East Midlands, depending on where you are travelling from. There is a Skylink bus service which serves Long Easton, Derby, Nottingham and Leicester heading towards the airport. Derby is ideal for those traveling to and from the North, West Midlands and South West of the UK, Nottingham and Leicester is great for travelling from the East and Long Eaton is served by services coming from the South East.

Edinburgh / Edinburgh Waverley

Edinburgh Airport is connected by tram and bus to both Edinburgh Waverley and Haymarket rail stations. Edinburgh Waverley is the ideal station for those arriving from the south, and Haymarket would be more suited for those coming from north or west of Edinburgh. The Airlink 100 service runs from Waverley Bridge outside Edinburgh Waverley station and from Haymarket station. Buses ran 24/7 and are as frequent as every 10 minutes during the day with journey duration of around 30 minutes.
There is also a tram service that serves the airport. The tram departs from St Andrew Square, a five minute walk from Edinburgh Waverley. It also departs outside Haymarket station. From St Andrew Square the journey takes around 40 minutes and from Haymarket takes around 30 minutes.
Exeter / Exeter St Davids

Exeter Airport is best reached using the connecting bus service from Exeter St Davids station. The number 56 leaves from outside the station and runs from 0625 until 1815, with journey duration of around 35 minutes (depending on the time of day).
Heathrow / Reading

On the CrossCountry route, the best place to change to access Heathrow Airport is Reading. There are signs for the RailAir from the platforms. Buses leave around every 20 minutes during the day, and at a reduced service early morning and late evening. Timetables can be accessed on the RailAir website.
Leeds Bradford / Leeds or York

There are buses available from outside Leeds rail station to Leeds Bradford Airport, which are supplied by Flying Tiger Bus. The number 757 starts from early morning and runs until late evening, with services taking around 30 minutes to get from the station to the airport.

Manchester Airport has its own transport hub called ‘The Station’. The airport can be accessed by train from Manchester Piccadilly, and it is a short walk to the terminal from Manchester Airport train station.
Newcastle / Newcastle

Newcastle Airport can be easily accessed on the Tyne and Wear Metro. You can take the Metro from Newcastle Central station on the green line to Newcastle Airport’s own dedicated metro station. The journey takes around 25 minutes, and there are trains every 12 minutes from early morning until late evening.
