GRUB, Manchester

Held every Friday and Saturday, GRUB food fair combines top street food, good beer and smashing tunes! Visit on Sunday for their ‘Plant Powered Sundays’, bringing you some of the finest vegan street food traders, alongside a vegan-friendly bar!

Street Food Club, Nottingham

‘Eat global, dine local’ at Nottingham’s Street Food Club, a buzzing food market open every Thursday – Sunday. Traders rotate throughout the year, to give regulars some variety and to help promote as many independent businesses as possible. You’ll find cuisines ranging from Asian street food to artisanal pizza. And the best bit? It’s indoors, so you can visit whatever the weather.

Digbeth Dining Club, Birmingham

Since it opened in 2012, Digbeth Dining Club has taken Brum’s alternative food scene by storm. This all-encompassing event of food, music and entertainment keeps locals and tourists coming back for more.  You’ll find a great range of street vendors selling everything from Indian fusion, Mexican, juicy burgers and plenty of sweet treats for pud. Over 50 vendors appear on rotation throughout the year, so there’s often something new.

Eat North, Leeds

Every summer Eat North brings street food, craft beer and DJs to the North Brewing Co in Leeds. A rotating line up of street food traders transforms the brewery into a mini festival. This year promises 10 brewery fresh beers on tap, alongside soft drinks, your favourite spirits, and a dedicated Aperol Spritz tap. Aside from the wonderfully stocked bar and mouth-watering food, you’ll enjoy DJs, live music and fun bar games. Eat North is children, dog and vegan friendly, so everyone is welcome.

HWKRMRKT, Newcastle

Tucked under the Tyne Bridge in Newcastle, this cool UK street food market is housed in a collection of shipping containers. From spring until late autumn, HWKRMRKT invites you to kick back, relax and sample the finest independent street food alongside freshly brewed beers, small batch spirits, wines and cocktails. The market has a selection of resident traders including Papa Ganoush, Scream for Pizza and Cakes Countour, as well as weekly rotating guests.

Big Feed Street Food, Glasgow

Big Feed is Scotland’s biggest indoor, fully licensed street food market. Bringing together delicious food, live music and DJs, games for kids and outdoor seating; it’s a great place to spend an afternoon in Glasgow. Whatever food you’re craving, you’ll find it here – Spanish bites, falafel, dumplings, burgers and pizza, not to mention waffles and other sweet treats! And, of course, you’ll find haggis in many forms.

St Nicholas Market, Bristol

Bristolians are openly proud of the independent spirit in the city and one way to get a real sense of it is to head to one of the city’s food markets. From Japanese to Indian, British to Thai, St Nicholas street food market in Bristol has around 15 stalls to choose from. Open all year round, you will find some of Bristol’s finest street food, with many seasonal dishes on offer. Permanent vendors include Blue Fire Smoke and Grill, Chef De Maison, Indian Masala, The Italian Sausage and Pippin Doughnuts.
