Your journey
Going departing after
CrossCountry provided extra services to Weymouth so that people from the North could attend the sailing activities taking place.
And our participation didn't end there. On 24 August 2012 we helped transport part of the Paralympic flame between York and Sheffield where it was used to light a ceremonial cauldron. The flame was transported in a miner's Davy Lamp and accompanied on its journey by Colin Price, a previous winner of three Paralympic medals for GB Wheelchair Basketball team.
