As part of Arriva, one the leading public transport providers across 14 European countries, CrossCountry is proud to be supporting colleagues at Arriva Italia which has been chosen as the official People Mobility Partner for Expo Milano 2015.
The Expo is a universal exhibition taking place in Milan, Italy from 1 May to 31 October. The chosen central theme for the six-month event is 'Feeding the Planet, Energy for Life'.
It will be the largest ever global showcase on food and nutrition with more than 140 countries exhibiting their ideas, innovative technologies and exchanging information.
Arriva Italia has been chosen to manage a variety of vital transport solutions during the Expo which is expected to attract 20 million people. These include providing shuttle buses to connect parking areas to the Expo, operating internal shuttle services within the one million square foot exhibition area, and managing ticket reservations, car parks, signage and online information.
