Weekends in September and October 2022
Oxford station is soon to receive significant investment to improve the passenger experience, with an additional platform and western entrance. The first phase of this work begins shortly and will see improvements to the track in the station area.
Over four weekends in September and October, Network Rail will be replacing the tracks between Oxford and Banbury.
Because of the need to close the railway lines so this can be completed, buses will replace trains on the following dates:
Saturday 10 – Sunday 11 September
Leamington Spa – Banbury – Oxford – Didcot Parkway
Saturday 17 – Sunday 18 September
Saturday: Banbury – Oxford – Didcot Parkway
Sunday: Leamington Spa – Banbury – Oxford – Didcot Parkway
Saturday 24 – Sunday 25 September
Banbury – Oxford – Didcot Parkway
Saturday 1 – Sunday 2 October
Banbury – Oxford – Didcot Parkway

Road transport
Replacement road transport will depart from the following stations:
Didcot Parkway – front of the station
